December is a busy time of year for everyone. For me it has meant numerous gangster nights alongside two weddings. For Rachel & Nic it meant pushing Chritmas aside and preparing for their wedding day. December is getting everymore popular for weddings and Rachel & Nicolas had chosen 5 days beofre Christmas to tie the knot in a beautiful festive ceremony.
As the nights draw in, the photography becomes ever more challenging. Low light brings challenges that you rarely find during the summer months. Ceremonies finish and you have precious little time to capture those special moments before the darkness decends. It means a change in tactic to capture some beautiful images.
My blog today is to share with you just a few of those special images taken in situations where the light was challenging....and a couple just because I like them.
All comments are really appreciated.
I hope you enjoy the results!
The little details that count for so much!
The first lighting challenge. I wanted to create a little warmth within the room so decided to turn the lamps on and balance with flash to compliment the ambient lighting.
The Solent Inn at Whitely have a beautiful reception area and the Christmas tree made a perfect setting for some group shots. Once again the lighting prooved more than a little challenging but I think the results are worth the extra effort.
Our Bride and Bridesmaid having a little fun time.

Congratulations to you both and I hope you enjoy your Christmas break.
Speak to you when you get back!
