I love Old Portsmouth. It is one of my favourite spots to walk. There is so much to see and to walk along the promanade on a Sunday is a real treat.
Rather than take the car round to Portsmouth, Ian and I opted to take a trip accross the harbour on the Gosport Ferry, have a wander round Gunwharf Quays before taking a meander round to southsea. Armed with just a camera and one spare lens, we headed up the prom towards Clarence Parade Pier. Grey days always prove a bit of a challenge. What can you photograph in such flat lighting. Well, I thought I would share what I found on my wanderings
It is so lovely to see the first stirrings of Spring.....at last!

Who could resist a shot like this!

Something a little more graphic perhaps?
Clarence Pier

There is always a little something around to photograph...you just have to open your imagination to find it. Imagine how fab the chairs would look as the sun was going down.....change the light, recreate the image.
